Beccs Fun Run

Beccs Club Fun Run - There are 2 distances, which I think are 3 miles and 10 miles (but I could be wrong, in any case it'll be on the application forms, which will
be released nearer the time). This year it is on Sunday 6th July, so put it in your diaries. Those not wanting to run, Angela always needs marshals so please let her know if you can help with that(ABrdhrst@aol.com)

It's always a brilliant event and there's a barbeque afterwards, so a chance for a natter and a few pints too, hopefully in the sunshine.

Birthday Drinks

Hello everyone,

On Saturday 3rd May I am having birthday drinks at the waterfront in streatham at 3pm onwards.

The pub is a very ? pub they serve pizzas (which are the best) alcohol (obviously) and cool music. Then after if we are still standing maybe back to house for more drinks and celebrations. Streatham is easy to get to from Bromley.

If you would like to come RSVP and i will send directions
I would love for as many of you to join me in celebrating my 27th year.
This is Bank holiday weekend so only really good excuses please.
Hope everyone is doing good and hope to see you soon!!!!

Love Willy

Race for Life - 20th July

How do you all fancy doing the Race for Life this year at Regents Park on Sunday 20th July? Its only 5Km which is 3 miles so is both run and walkable. We could do it in our kit and raise awarness, sponsorship for a good cause and publicilty for the team.

There's still time to train for it, and we could run in 2 or 3 groups ie the walkers, the joggers and the runners?

Anyone fancy it? I've managed to persuade Vonnie, and, again, its another good social exercise that we will of course have to celebrate once we complete it :-)

End of Season Dinner

The End of Season Dinner is planned this year for Friday 9th May at Sparrows Den.

As far as I am aware tickets have not gone on sale yet, but I will let you know as soon as they do.

It would be fantastic to try and fill 3 tables this year so please make every effort to attend, as you have worked damn hard this season and deserve it!!!

The price is around £30 and includes the marquee, dinner and I think there is wine on the tables but don’t hold me to this!!!
Now for the fun bit . . . .

Please could you send me your individual nomination for Players Player of the Season, 2007/08. I require a name and as much detail as possible as to why you have chosen this player.

Also, could you send me your most memorable moment of the season, could be on or off the pitch, again in as much detail as possible.

Thanks, Caz

Fancy Dress Theme for Sunday 25th Nov

Hiya all,

Regarding the fancy dress theme after sundays game! I think im right in saying that sunday is our last game before crimbo, so whether you are playing or injured and watching or too young to play and watching, then fancy dress is a must for after the match!

While im on the subject just wanted to say good effort to you all after the Beckenham game with the Hallowean themed fancy dress, thought it was an awesome evening with fab costumes, so well done!

Anyway back to Sunday, cos i know you are all dying to know what it is, although if you went training tonight then Caz should have told you!

The theme is EMERGENCY SERVICES......

So, quite a wide choice there, so no excuses not to have a little evidence of the dress code required!

Also wanted to mention 15th Dec club xmas dinner at Laragosta think we should make an effort to get a ladies table together, the more the better....

then we have our ladies do the wk after, exciting stuff!!

Anyway i think ive said everything now!!

Hope to see you all soon!!

Senior Regional Trials

Subject: Senior Regional Trials
Date: Mon, 19 Nov 2007 10:04:30 +0000
From: AmandaBate@RFU.com

Hi everyone,

The regional programme is fast approaching and the senior trials are on 16th December.

SENIORS-For senior players to trial they need to register on-line this year. Please would you tell all your players at county and club level, about this.

An interested senior player needs to go to www.rfu.com, click on women’s rugby and then click on the regional programme button.

This is the only way this year to register for trials. Closing date for seniors to register is 7th December

Seniors wishing to trial should be registered with a club which is affiliated to the RFUW or be attending a University.

( I am sorry but I have no contact details for Chichester University , so if anyone else has, please would you contact them and copy me in, so that I then have a contact. Thanks.)

Tour Money

Good morning all!

Ok this as you may have guessed is about deposits for tour, I really need to get at least £40 from those of you that haven't paid anything at all by the end of the month. The reason I need it is because I need to book the train tickets on the 7th of December and if I don't have your money I will not be able to book you a ticket and will have to assume that you no longer wish to go on tour with us. I asked if you could pay me £20 a month and so far only 10 people have paid anything at all and by the end of this month will have paid me £60 and be up to date.

Newbie's I'm not including you in this cos you only just found out about it but I will need a deposit from you asap!

I know that club subs are also due by xmas so if you think you can't afford to go on tour then please tell me so I can take you off the list. Those of you that do go Mickey has asked me to find out who wants a ticket to the game, we have 14 so its a first come first served basis, tickets are an extra £50.

Please don't ignore this - I need to know if your going or not, if you are having problems then talk to me and we'll see what we can do.

See most of you on Sunday!

Sam xx
